Accessibility Statement
How Fly TLV ensures accessibility in compliance with Israeli Standard 5568 and WCAG 2.1 AA.
Our Commitment
Fly TLV is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and its Service Accessibility Regulations, 5773-2013.
Standard applied: Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines; the site is additionally tested against WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Accessibility Arrangements Made
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, including a visible focus indicator on links, buttons and form controls.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for images, and accessible names for icon-only controls.
- Text and background colour combinations tested to a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Support for Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR), with the page language declared for screen readers.
- Content reflows to a single column on small screens, and text can be resized without loss of function.
- Tested with the axe accessibility engine across desktop and mobile viewports in both languages.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, the following parts of the site may not be fully accessible:
- The interactive destinations map and the live aircraft radar are visual tools; the same flight information is available in text form on the flight boards.
- Content embedded from third parties (live radar, advertising and booking partners) is not under our control, and its accessibility is the responsibility of those providers.
- Pages published by external services and linked from this site may not meet the same standard.
