Privacy Policy (2026 Update)
Full explanation of how Fly TLV collects and uses data, applies AI, and protects your rights under Israeli 2026 law and GDPR.
Introduction
Fly TLV is an information site about flights from Israel’s airports. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do. It is written to meet the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 as amended by Amendment 13, and the GDPR where it applies.
What We Collect
Browsing this site does not require an account. Our servers keep technical logs that include your IP address, the pages you requested, your browser type and any errors, for security and troubleshooting. Aggregate counters record how many times a destination was clicked; these hold no identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
IP Address and Location
To show the correct cookie notice we ask an external service, freeipapi.com, which country an IP belongs to. Your IP address is sent to that service for this purpose. We do not store the result, and we do not use it to identify you.
Cookies and Consent
Only strictly necessary cookies are set when you arrive. Analytics and advertising cookies, and the third-party services that set them, are blocked until you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; withdrawing analytics consent also clears the analytics cookies we can reach.
Third-Party Services
Subject to your consent we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (usage measurement), Google AdSense (advertising) and TravelPayouts, via emrldco.com and tpembd.com (affiliate attribution for booking links). The live aircraft radar is embedded from ADS-B Exchange, which runs its own advertising and analytics; it is therefore loaded only after you accept marketing cookies, or when you press the button on the placeholder. We also load fonts, icons and map tiles from public CDNs, which necessarily see your IP address. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Telegram and WhatsApp Bots
If you choose to use our Telegram or WhatsApp bot we store your messaging user ID, the flights or destinations you subscribed to, your language preference and the times you were first and last seen. This is kept only to deliver the alerts you asked for. Each alert carries an Unfollow / Unsubscribe button that removes the subscription, and you can write to us to have your records deleted entirely.
AI Features
The chat assistant and the trip questionnaire send the text you type to Google’s Gemini API in order to generate an answer. Do not enter personal or sensitive details in these fields. We do not use your inputs to build a profile of you.
How Long We Keep Data
Technical server logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics and are then overwritten. Bot subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Aggregate click counters contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.
Your Rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (as amended by Amendment 13, in force since 14 August 2025) and, where it applies to you, the GDPR, you may ask what information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected or deleted, withdraw your cookie consent, and object to advertising profiling. Write to us and we will respond within the period the law allows. You may also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and administrative areas are password protected. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.

We update this policy when the site changes. The date below shows when it was last revised; please check it from time to time.
